Upstate Medical University’s Office of Industry Research (typically known as technology transfer) supports Upstate’s Research mission; “to create a world-class research enterprise that supports biomedical research innovation, development, and entrepreneurship….” We provide personal and hands-on support for the Upstate faculty and industry partners to advance innovation. The resources of the SUNY Research Foundation (RF) help guide Intellectual Property (IP) and commercialization activities. Feel free to reach out early and often as you develop new IP, work with industry partners, and advance your work towards commercialization. We aim to support, and grow, the industry research enterprise across our campus resources, our partner Biotech Incubator, our start-up industry partners, and beyond.
