Upstate Medical University encourages its investigators and clinical research staff to participate in the effort to determine whether new drugs or treatments are safe and effective in humans, through the development and conduct of clinical trials.
Because of our investigators and research staff, Upstate Medical University has been able to participate in approximately 250 clinical trials per year. The Clinical Trials Office has been established to serve investigators and staff in seeking out and navigating research opportunities. Our goal is to grow the number of clinical trials that Upstate Medical University can be a part of, which in turn, many times, helps us to secure some of the latest and most optimistic treatment options for patients.
Below you will find the tools that will help you with the administrative aspects of initiating and conducting clinical trials. We encourage investigators to continue to work on growing our depth in the world of research.
