NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION (NSF) GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM (GRFP) APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT WEBINAR SERIES

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development is sponsoring a three part webinar series on August 18, 21, and 23 to prepare rising junior and senior undergraduates as well as first-and second-year graduate students in STEM fields to apply to NSF’s prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

The GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing full-time research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education. The GRFP provides three years of support over a five-year fellowship period for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM or STEM education.

By winning an NSF GRFP fellowship or Honorable Mention, you may be eligible for a SUNY GREAT (Graduate Research Empowering and Accelerating Talent) award, a one-time award of $5,000 in flexible funding. 

Webinars will be conducted by Professor Susan Brennan of Stony Brook University, SUNY Innovation in Graduate Education Research Fellow.
